Hi Matt,

I’m seeing an error related to a countdown feature:

http://cl.ly/image/3z0d0C2s2F0q

It looks like it is stuck as the errors increase as I view the page in Safari developer tools.

Could you temporarily deactivate that plugin and then reply here so we can take another look?

Also, who is your hosting provider? We want to rule out that its not a hosting provider that forces caching as that could cause sporadic issues during registration checkout.

Hi, errors are still being generated on the page via the countdown plugin. Could you temporarily deactivate the countdown plugin?

What happens when you temporarily deactivate all plugins and reactivate only Event Espresso 4?

Does the same error appear?

Also, was Event Espresso 4 installed via your WP dashboard (WP-admin)?

Okay, since you mentioned FTP, its possible that some files did not transfer or a connection dropped during the transfer.

Could you try re-installing Event Espresso 4 via the WP dashboard in the Plugins screen?

Hi,

My main question is why this error appearing as this is your code what happen to script as lot’s of developer face this issue again and again

This doesn’t happen on a default WP theme with a current version of WordPress so I suspect its either a conflict with your theme or a conflict with another plugin.

Could you try adding the theme testdrive plugin to your site?

Then enable it and try a registration. You can deactivate it after the test and it will only change the theme for logged-in admin users. That is, your public visitors will continue to see your own theme.

Does the registration work as expected?

Old JavaScript/jQuery will definitely cause problems! Glad you got it fixed. Anything else we can assist with regarding this topic or may we mark this as resolved?
