Hello,
We have downloaded and installed the .zip file into our wordpress, however when we click on activate we receive the following message:
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Any help on the situation would be great, thank you!

Hi there Eileen,
Do you have any existing versions of Event Espresso installed? If so, could you please deactivate it before try to activate version 4?

Hi there,
Please be sure that your WordPress installation is at least at version 3.8 before installing Event Espresso. If it’s below version 3.5, it will not install because Event Espresso calls functions that are defined in the newer versions of WordPress.
