Josh – You mention in another post that you can use the “Ticket Template Editor” to add extra fields of information to TICKETS (so not at the “event” level, at the “ticket”). I cannot find this anymore in Event Espresso Core – what am I missing? And can I add extra fields to tickets by doing this?
I don’t remember ever mentioning a “Ticket Template Editor”. In this other topic I mentioned the idea of adding fields to the advanced settings in the ticket editor:
You can add extra fields for tickets, and the way you do that is with custom code that hooks into the available filter hook. The WP User add-on does just that, and my reply in the other topic includes information about where to look in the WP User add-on’s code to see exactly how to add a custom field there.
In the other topic we were discussing tickets in the context of the Printable Tickets add-on, not in the context of editing/setting up tickets for sale.
That particular editor is for editing the ticket that’s sent to the user after they’ve registered, and is available with the Printable tickets add-on.
