EE4 Warnings for Support License on New Domain

I changed the domain of assigned to my site_license keys. I use the new key.

Until recently, I have been able to update my EE4 plugins automatically. Now I get errors, such as,

An error occurred while updating Event Espresso – WP Users (EE4.6+): Update package not available.

In the meantime, I updated core manually.

There are warnings/reminders on my new site that

A valid Support License Key is needed to enable automatic upgrades. Your current account does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain.

Should I erase the EE4 installed on my old site to get rid of this error?

Hi Raffy,

Your support license will link to one site at a time. For the WP User Integration, try manually updating and that should take you to the latest version.

Here are the steps:

1) Deactivate the old version

2) Remove it

3) Download the latest version from your Event Espresso account

4) Return to your WP dashboard and update and install the WP user integration. Then activate afterwards.

Do note, I was able to one-click update until the latest update. Anyway, I am used to manual mode.

Hi Raffy,

To confirm, yes you will need to remove the license key from the previous domain.

We can reset your license key but if it is in use on 2 different domains it will invalidate shortly after, so you need to only use the key on a single domain.
