Hi,
I completely removed EE3 from my server following this thread and installed EE4 instead. I entered the license key and attempted to update the EE plugin but got this error:

The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.

Enabling Maintenance mode…

`Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$package in /home/mywebsite/public_html/conference/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader.php on line 896
Updating Plugin Event Espresso (1/1)

An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Update package not available.

Please advise if I need to reset my license key or do something else to fix this error. So far, I haven’t installed any other plugins with EE4 core plugin.

Hello,

Your support license key was already released. Please try a re-install of your software. Begin by backing up your WordPress:

https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

Next, download the latest version of your Event Espresso software from your account:

https://eventespresso.com/users/ifayed/

Now login to your WordPress admin and go to Plugins. Locate Event Espresso in the list of plugins and deactivate it.

From the Plugins screen in the WordPress admin and click on Add New –> Upload. Then browse to the zip file that you downloaded from your account. Select it and begin the upload process. You can activate Event Espresso after it has finished.
