I set up a site for my client and it’s running EE4 (4.6.10.p) with the Calendar add-on (3.2.1.p). They having trouble with the Registration Approved messages getting to them automatically when someone registers for an event.
In order to get the email sent to them, they have to go in to the Registrations area and Apply the Payment through there in order for the message to be sent out. They are using PayPal Standard payments.
I went in this morning and tried to switch all the events to have an Approved status but that didn’t seem to help. Is there something else I should be doing to get the messages to send out as soon as the payment is made?
Sorry I’m not sure if your referring to the IPN message or EE message?
Is IPN enabled with a URL in the Notification URL field, like this – http://take.ms/672va
(Your screen may look different from that)
Also I would advise against leaving all the events Default Reg Status as Approved. All registrations will then count towards the attendee limits, paid or not.
