Hello, Your steps sound correct. Could you confirm that your WordPress environment is a single site install and not a WordPress multi-site install? — |

Yes it’s a singlet site install. I still have this following problem, in checkout page ‘attendee information’ Thanks for your help, |
Hi there, ‘Personal Information’ is likely the name of your Question Group. Go to Event Espresso -> Registration form -> Question Groups – http://take.ms/fpAv9 Edit the Personal Information question group (click on it) Change the Name of the Question Group – http://take.ms/mDTtv |

Thanks for this help. Sadly I got my first problem again. Its really strange. It was working five hours ago and now its switched back to an English translation. event_espresso-fr_FR.po I don’t have installed new plugins today. For compiling .mo file I got Poedit-1.8.7. Thanks for your help, |
Hello, The translation files in this location are not removed or replaced on a software update so they should continue to work: /wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages What happens if you export an MO file and adjust the file name (event_espresso-fr_FR.mo) and upload to the languages folder location above? Are there any translation files in this location? /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg If so, could you remove them? — |

Hello, Its better if I export in MO then I adjust the file name (event_espresso-fr_FR.mo). I don’t have problem to display the back-end. But the translation still does’nt work. I have And in this following folders, I don’t have event espresso translation files Have you another idea ? |
Hi, I’m not sure why this would break after a few hours as those files are still in the correct location. Loco translate is off, right? Are you using anything on the site like WPML or qTranslate? — |

Could it come from of Poedit or Fillezilla ? I will wait until tomorow to see if there is any kind of regression. |
Hello Jacques, I use POedit myself for translation tasks so that shouldn’t cause any issues. I would try another SFTP client like Cyberduck to see if the issue continues when files are uploaded. However, as I shared earlier, the language files in this location are not edited / changed when you update Event Espresso 4: /wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages — |
