Guys sorry to post this in the general support Forums, but it has been over three days since I wrote you asking the below:

I have EE4 as you know, but due to the lack of add-ons I would like to know the best option for me to revert back to my previous EE3 package including all my add-ons. This question should be a relatively easy one from the billing team to answer, so please get in touch as support never use to be this slow..

Hi there,

No need to apologize, this is the best place to ask for support!

Yo can deactivate Event Espresso 4 and reactivate Event Espresso 3 from the WordPress plugin manager page. If you took a database backup of your site before activating Event Espresso 4, you can restore to the backup. More info on restoring from backups here:

If you did not make a backup of the database before activating Event Espresso 4, you will need to manually set up the event pages with the correct shortcodes as outlined in Event Espresso > General Settings > Page Settings and in this document:

Hi Josh,
EE3 was completely removed (deleted) along with all my other plugins – due to a major balls up on my part, so I had to start everything from scratch. The other issue I have is that the laptop which I had purchase and downloaded all my plugins is no longer available – stolen, so I no longer have my copy to re-upload, hence my frustration. Can you please help me out???

Hi there,

If you check with your host they may have a backup of the files from your site before they were deleted. I’m not able to send you files that your current support license does not have access to.

Hi Josh,
I have already been down that route and because I have moved from a shared host to a more robust VPS server the have wiped my data completely from the old server (backup and all). The new VPS server that I am on don’t have any historic data obviously,so I understandably I cannot get anything that way. I am not asking for a freebie, all I am asking you for is just to kindly replace/provide what I had purchase..Please don’t say you are unable, because I know that this is possible and it would be more unwilling than unable. I have spent and invested a lot of time with your amazing product and I would like to continue using it..Please don’t add to my misery and help me out as best as you can. Thanks

Hi there,

You have access in your account to what your current support license gives you access to. The thing is I am not authorized to send files or give file access to those who have accounts that do not have a current support license for downloads they are requesting.

If you feel that there’s an error with your account or if it’s not an error and you would like to request a discount code to upgrade your account to have access to Event Espresso 3 and its add-ons please contact the sales team by sending an email to sales@eventespresso.com

Hi Josh,
Thanks for not helping out and wasting my time on this occasion..If my issue was something you felt you had no power to deal with, then maybe it would have been better to direct to another member of staff who does have decision making power. Luckily for you I have been contacted by your sales team, who was more understandable and helpful than you..Word of advise start learning to treat your customer and potential customer as individuals – Your last reply was scripted and generic to say the lease.
