The one feature that stood out above the rest of the booking / event booking plugins is the use of the mobile ticketing app. After more than a year of EE4 buzz there is still no sign of the ticketing add-on. Is there any roadmap when this is going to be released ?
Is EE4 considered to be production ready ? Or still beta ?

Hi Pascal,
EE4 is still considered beta, but can be used on production sites, where functionality allows (for example discounts, ticketing and multi event registrations are not currently available).
We will be creating a ticketing addon for it, but right now other plugins need to be created prior to it (especially the JSON API which will no doubt feature prominently within the ticketing add on itself).
We will also need to make a new mobile app.
As I’m sure you can appreciate we are working hard to get all the addons ported to EE4 and also improve upon them but as they are all being coded from scratch it does take some time.
Right now there is no timescale for when the ticketing add on will be released.

Can’t you make a rough estimate either ? Are we talking a year or few months ?
