Hi Mike,

You first go to WordPress > Plugins and make sure the Event Espresso Ticketing add-on is activated. Then, you go to Event Espresso > Messages > Settings and verify that the Ticket Notice email is activated.
https://slack-files.com/T02SY781D-FARU5NND6-4c8c0e916f

Finally, you can edit the template (and do a test send) by going to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates, then edit the Ticket Notice template.

thank you for the details – they are sending now.
If I need to have each event use a different phone number and email contact address how can I enable that per event in all email messages without making custom for all?

Hi Mike,

You can set the Event Phone Number field in the Event Registration Options box (outlined in this screenshot).

You can set an email contact address by adding a new custom field when you edit the event. Then you can use the [EVENT_META_*] shortcode to display the email contact address. For example if the custom field key is email_contact, you can add something like this to the Global email template:

Email Contact: [EVENT_META_*email_contact]

I have the phone entered. I have the custom field entered here is the screen shot.

I then went to MESSAGES > DEFAULT MESSAGE TEMPLATES and tried to edit the ticket notice body but got an error see below screen shots.

A registrant could have multiple events assigned to it so the ticket notice doesn’t have access to the event specific date in the main content (as it wouldn’t know which event it was for).

Currently, the ticket notice email does not list out event-specific details by default so you can replace the [EVENT_META_*email_contact] you have in main with [EVENT_LIST]

Then in the EVENT_LIST section, add just [EVENT_META_*email_contact]

You’re on the right track. One thing to be aware of is the Event Phone Number field will be output with the [EVENT_PHONE] shortcode. The [CO_PHONE] shortcode will output the phone number set on the Event Espresso > General Settings page.
