I have a new event and we did a full test purchase and the ticket email is not being sent. where can i look and verify the ticket is setup correctly and then test send? |
Hi Mike, You first go to WordPress > Plugins and make sure the Event Espresso Ticketing add-on is activated. Then, you go to Event Espresso > Messages > Settings and verify that the Ticket Notice email is activated. Finally, you can edit the template (and do a test send) by going to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates, then edit the Ticket Notice template. |

Hi Mike, You can set the Event Phone Number field in the Event Registration Options box (outlined in this screenshot). You can set an email contact address by adding a new custom field when you edit the event. Then you can use the

I have the phone entered. I have the custom field entered here is the screen shot. I then went to MESSAGES > DEFAULT MESSAGE TEMPLATES and tried to edit the ticket notice body but got an error see below screen shots. |
A registrant could have multiple events assigned to it so the ticket notice doesn’t have access to the event specific date in the main content (as it wouldn’t know which event it was for). Currently, the ticket notice email does not list out event-specific details by default so you can replace the Then in the EVENT_LIST section, add just |
