Using EE4 and trying to get SSL to work correctly. On the EE3 documentation it reads we need to go to Event Espresso>System Status and turn on ssl for the correct pages which are main registration page, auto return url and notify url. Is that still correct as i only want to use https for check out? And second, I can’t seem to find these pages and this section on EE4. Please let me know . Thanks
The pages have changed slightly in Event Espresso 4. They are called Critical Pages and can be found in WordPress admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Critical Pages.
The registration checkout page should be secured.
Your payment processor should be able to automatically post back information to Event Espresso via HTTPS.
Hi Lorenzo
Thanks. I guess just go to each individual page and force ssl through the critical page area to make sure you set it to the pages mentioned there. Thanks
That will make all Event Espresso pages secured. Is that your goal?
From your earlier message, it seemed like you wanted to secure the payment process. If you just need that part secured via HTTPS, then set that up for this page:
I see. Now that makes sense. I was trying to follow the old documentation and what you were saying at the same time. Then all I need to is set up the one page and i’ll be set. Thanks
