I had this problem several months ago when using EE4 with the TablePress plugin and now its happening again without the plugin.

The only thing I have on my page is: [ESPRESSO_EVENTS id=724] and the page displays ALL my events as shown here: http://www.myatp.org/test-webinars/

It doesn’t matter what shortcode I use, I also get everything showing on the page.

I’ve refreshed the browser more times than I can count in a handful of browsers, both MAC and PC. I’ve even tried machines I’ve never used before. I’ve upgraded to 4.8.10.p and recreated the page with absolutely the same result. The only thing I can think of is its something in my theme which is Virtue – Premium Child.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I just switched to the WordPress theme “Twenty Fourteen” and it did the exact same thing.

Hi there,

It turns out that id=724 is not a valid parameter for the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode. You can order by id with something like [ESPRESSO_EVENTS order_by=id].

You can display one event via a shortcode on a page by using another shortcode like this: [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id="your_event_id"].
