Hi Benjamin,
Other than manual payments payments via the WordPress admin, EE4 does not support partial payments. That particular modification does not work with EE4 and one has not yet been created. We plan to make partial payments an official feature eventually.
Does that help, or did I miss your question?
If you really need this feature we might consider adding it if you can help with the cost (more information about Sponsored Development https://eventespresso.com/about/philosophy/#sponsored-development), otherwise we’ll add it to our list of feature requests.

That does help. I have seen on other boards that you guys don’t want to give specific deadlines for development, however, is there a broad strokes timeline for feature updates to EE4? Are we talking months or years?
