I don’t see an option to set the time zone for each event, is that possible? We have events happening all over the country and do not want people to get confused. If this is not a current feature, is it in the works? Do you have any recommendations for workarounds?
This is not currently a feature in Event Espresso. The timezone used is the one that is set in your Settings > General area. This is not something that is on our roadmap.
One thing you can do is set the times of the events in the timezone where the venue is located. Then you can add a message in the event details informing the registrant of the timezone where the event will occur. Something like, “The times for this event are in (venue timezone).”
You could also use Advanced Custom Fields to add a field to the event editor which will allow you to input the timezone.
Thanks for the reply. I think ACF might be our solution.
I do have one question. On the Order Confirmation (the downloadable PDF), next to the Date/Time, it says: (America/Los Angeles). Is there a way to remove this? (And then replace with the ACF field?).
