I am confused.
I have the registration limit set to 17. I had 17 registrations, confirmed. And then had 2 cancellations. I notice if I just change the registration status to cancelled, it is not opening up those 2 spots online. I went in and cancelled the payments as well. So on the EE admin end I see 15 registrations, confirmed. But online it says 16 tickets sold, open 1 ticket. What is missing?

Hi,

How are you today?

To release a ticket, you’ll need to apply a refund for the ticket payment amounts in the Transaction(s). Make sure both transactions don’t have money paid to them. Then set the Registration to cancelled (which you may have done). If the 2nd ticket is still not being released let us know and we can look into it further with you.

Hi there, I am fine, hope your day goes well.
I did cancel both payments. If I refund, the client gets an email, which is confusing to them, since the payment is not refundable. The strange thing is that one of these registrations is still locking one ticket, the other did open it up.
Is there an option to not send an email to clients?
Best,R

Hi,

If you’re not using the Refund messages, you can turn off the Refund message type in Messages > Settings

refund message inactive

OR

Remove the shortcode from the TO line in the Primary Registrant context.

refund message type primary registrant email

OK, let me try it now and see if that works.
Thanks,

This worked now. Thanks.
Will it ever be possible to have the option to send auto email messages when a transaction is done online, but decide on not sending any when changes are done from the admin side.
Thanks for your great help.

Currently we have the option not to send registration messages but not payment messages.

We have an open feature request for this and I have added your vote for inclusion in a future version of Event Espresso.

Just let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for adding me on this request.
It´s an awesome plugin, we start to love it. And with some additional options it will be even greater.
Thanks,R
