Hi,
I want the Registration Approved Template to go to the Primary Registrant not the admin (which is where it is set to go by default) but when I select “Primary Registrant” from the drop down and click “Switch Recipient” – the To field becomes empty. I can select simply “Registrant” and then click the “Switch Recipient” and it does show [RECIPIENT_EMAIL] in the To field…HOWEVER when I save my changes and re-open the template, it’s set back to the default value of [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL].
I’m sort of confused. Also – I’m not sure what all the other text fields are for. I tried to delete some of the content from them but when I save the template and re-open – the content is all back.

By default, the Event admin receives a copy and the registrant gets a similar copy of the email.
To deactivate the message to the event admin, click on the Event Admin under recipients as shown in the screenshot above. This will take you to the Messages editor for the event admin:
