Hi,

I have several issues that I am currently trying to resolve, all around question conditional logic/flow.

Event: 3 Day Conference
Ticket: Single Day Entry
Issue: How do I determine which day an individual has purchased a ticket for without making three tickets?
Comment: Is it possible to have the individual select the date the ticket is for given that I have input and selected the 3 dates and made it only available for 1 #datetime.

Ticket: All tickets
Issue: Need to ask for accommodation (Double Room) who the individual is sharing with. How could I do this?
Comment: Need question list that is conditional on ticket

Ticket: Multiple tickets/ticket types are purchased
Issue: There is an option to auto fill certain sections. The autofill for ALL tickets works, but the autofill for individual sections does not work (i.e. 2 X Ticket RED and 1 X Ticket BLUE bought, Bob wants RED and BLUE Ticket, inputs data for Attendee #1 and then clicks “advanced copy options” and Attendee #2, nothing happens.)
Comment: Just wondering if this error could be fixed please :). Also, is it possible to make the advanced copy option be able to be made unavailable by the admin?

Ticket: All Tickets
Issue: I want to add an option for additional breakfasts without making another ticket
Comment: Is it possible to have optional extras for a particular ticket? This is the least important issue and I can see how this would cause other issues when accepting tickets.

NOTE: I have GravityForms but never got to use it with EE3; I am wondering if this would solve most of my problems above if it integrated with EE4? If so, what is the timeframe for this working (understand you all have a lot on your plates!)?

Hi Bjorn,

Take a look at the individual registration record and you’ll see the details for the ticket selection. http://www.screencast.com/t/jTt9poKCMQT8 The administrator has to choose the datetime(s) per ticket, not the attendee (ticket editor: http://www.screencast.com/t/MqdBcIPMR).

The information on whom someone is sharing a room will have to be an optional custom question for each ticket type of the event. Custom logic forms is something we plan to make available in the future. If you really need this feature we might consider adding it if you can help with the cost (more information about Sponsored Development https://eventespresso.com/about/philosophy/#sponsored-development).

The additional attendees functionality does seem to be working unless you’re discussing something different. I am able to copy attendee 1 info to attendee 3 and skip adding the same info to attendee 2 (see screencast: http://www.screencast.com/t/zZfoBMYxFe) This is not a configurable option at this time but I’ll add that as another feature request.

We recommend using individual tickets as the way to add “extras” because you can control the quantity available, the date in which they are available for sale, the ticket details, etc. I can still discuss this with the development team but it would be a significant project. Either way, the back-end of Event Espresso would probably function as if the sub-ticket was just a regular ticket but the front-end UI would manage the selection from the user.

Event Espresso EE3 nor EE4 are integrated with a form plugin. That can probably be done but it would also be a significant project. That integration is not on our short list.

Does that help? Some of your comments are better suited to be posted in this feature request form: https://eventespresso.com/ee4-add-ons-feature-requests/

Thanks for your assistance Garth.

The additional attendee system currently does not work with my site as shown in your video. I think it is something to do with my theme, Javascript and en-queuing. I am still trying to work out what the problem is 🙁

In terms of everything else, you answered my questions. I look forward to seeing the custom logic implemented in the future however we are a not-for-profit and do not have the funds to currently sponsor this.

Thanks again for your assistance.

We understand. We’ll do the best we can to get you and everyone else conditional logic in one way or another (no promises on when, sorry).
