How do you easily not allow coupon codes for specific events? It would be a pain to select all events for a code and uncheck specific ones. They are always adding events so they would have to keep checking boxes to allow for new events. Not user friendly… Can you not disallow coupons in the event itself?

That’s correct. The way the Promotions add-on works at this time is it gives you options to set a promo code for one event or many events using the checkboxes, or set the option to apply all events (labeled Apply Promo to ALL Scope Items). There currently isn’t an option to disallow specific promo codes from the event editor.

So when they add new events they have to go in to the coupon and check all the new events?

Not necessarily, because there’s the option to set Apply Promo to ALL Scope Items to yes. They’d only need to check individual events if they want to restrict specific promo codes to specific events.
