My client is http://www.scicu.org. We want to get them to buy the pro version but have questions regarding if it works similarly to what we have:
1. Keep custom sidebar like we have it here with feed for upcoming events: http://www.scicu.org/events/ and the calendar plugin shorcode – still works upon upgrading the calendar plugin for ee4
2. Keep the connection to PayPal for those events that must be paid for.
3. Keep the Event Espresso widget we are using on the home page bottom footer area: http://www.scicu.org/
4. Add custom fields (event questions) that cascade if possible. This is actually the only thing we need from the pro version but I don’t want them upgrading and then lose what I already set up in 1 through 3 above.
They plan to fill out the nonprofit form for pricing but before we do all that then I would like to confirm for them that they can create custom questions for different events.
thanks and the EE3 we are using right now is great except the ability to add custom questions.
Both Event Espresso 4 and Event Espresso 3 premium can create custom questions.
EE4 is a different platform than EE3 so there will be styling changes.
If you need the current events to appear the same and add the ability to add custom questions, then we recommend EE3 premium.
