I am using this addon.
To avoid to send too many mail to the customer I use the shortcode [TXN_TICKETS_APPROVED_URL] in the Approved Mail template and leave the ticket notice template email disabled in Email Setting.
I this way the customer receive the link to the printable ticket in the mail with approval.

When I approve from backend a registration:

All the email are sent, the registration is approved but I have the following error:

Cannot resend the ticket notice for this registration because the corresponding message type is not active. If you wish to send messages for this message type then please activate it by going here.

The link goes to the email settings. But if I enable the message Ticket Notice, the customer will receive one more email.

How can I avoid this behaviour?

Hi Antonio,

Although that notice is thrown it won’t prevent the Registration Approved message from sending, its just informing you that because the ticket notice email has been disabled EE can’t send it.

However there is a way to prevent that notice, first re-enable the ticket notice within the message settings.

Then go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates -> Ticket notice (click on the ‘Registrant’ link for that template) – http://take.ms/jzUH3

Note click the toggle to disable the message context – http://take.ms/KOi4S

Once that shows as ‘inactive’ it means that although the Ticket Notice message type is active (meaning the notice will not be thrown), all of the ‘contexts’ for that message have been disabled (meaning nothing is actually sent).
