I have tried on multiple occasions over the past several weeks to get this update to take on my WordPress system and it tells me that I have the lastest version which is 5.0.0.p. Is there some reason that it won’t take the update?
We identified an issue with some servers which prevent version 5.0.0-5.0.2 from updating and fixed it in version 5.0.3, it looks like your server is one of those.
On this occasion, you’ll need to update EE manually.
Then on the site go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin.
Select the .zip file you just downloaded.
WordPress should tell you there is a version already installed and ask if you want to replace it, check the plugin matches other than the version number and click to replace.
You’ll now have v5.0.3 installed and the above issue should not happen again.
Thanks Tony, while this was not my thread I had the exact same issue updating from 5.0.1.p to 5.0.3.p. I followed your procedure and everything updated perfectly.
