I’ve been issuing refunds through EE4. Now it looks like I have to go through all of them to ALSO refund them in PayPal? Is this a feature or a bug?
Is there an easy way to find them? There have been about 20 in various events in the past few months.
Also, it seems like most of my questions would be answered with a user manual. Not developer documentation, but a user manual. There should be instructions for basic day-to-day operations on items like issuing refunds, transferring tickets from one event to another, taking payment over the phone, and the need to republish an event when it sells out. Does such a thing exist?
PayPal refunds are not automatically processed by Event Espresso and this is not a bug. You would need to make this change in your PayPal account.
Tickets cannot be transferred. You would need to create a new registration through Event Espresso –> Events. Then hover over the name of the event and go to Registrations. Click on Add New Registrations and complete the registration. Once that has been done, you can cancel the original registration.
Payments over the phone aren’t accepted through Event Espresso. If you have a payment terminal, then you can process the payment and then add the registration as described above.
An event that sells out does not disappear from your site. It changes to a status of sold out. If you need to add more tickets, then you would need to change the status from sold out back to published.
