EE Team:

Hi!

First, I entirely understand that your team cannot estimate new feature releases.

So, this post came up: https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-and-quickbooks-intuit-merchant-services-payment-gateway/

Based on above it safe to assume that Quickbooks/Intuit payment gateway is off the table for the time being?

Additionally, was the offer serious from EE side? Is there an actual area/list/pile of sticky notes 🙂 where users can promise to donate cash for integration into QBO, and if you get enough users you will go ahead and speed up the release? If so, how is that being managed or are there just so few QBO users on EE (assuming that) it’s just not the priority for 2015?

Naturally, we want to migrate to EE4. We’re there, and just now noticed our payment gateway of preference is not available.

Yes, we know we can continue using EE3 until some time in which this happens which isn’t what we want to do either….other than that or switching payment gateways, are there any other pieces of advice we should follow within the Event Espresso solution?

Cheers,

Eleanor

Hi Eleanor,

I’ll try to clarify where we’re at with building a Quickbooks gateway for EE4: We have an open ticket to build an integration, and it’s currently behind a few other gateways in the queue.

We have a trello board where members can vote for the features they’d like to see next. Here’s a direct link to the Quickbooks card:

https://trello.com/c/oQqmxXgw/5-payment-gateway-quickbooks

Along with that, when we receive a $1000 deposit, in a single amount from one member or a combined amount split between more than one, we move a gateway to the top of the development queue. So far we have not received a deposit.

Well, I can wait for a bit – the business owner will bank that the nominal additional fee to go with one of your current gateways will be less than a grand. However, I voted and will throw into the pot if another customer comes in and wants to. Thanks for opening up the Trello to your customers! Another reason we love EE. Solid approach to development with customers who want about every feature yesterday.

I’ll keep a lookout!

Cheers.
