I’m hoping someone can help me complete the installation of EE4 on WordPress 3.8.3 running Twenty Eleven Alt theme. When I attempt to upload the zipped download via the wordpress plugin installer, the notification field in the bottom raises from uploading: 0% to uploading: 99% and then kicks me to a ‘page not found’ error.
So I tried uploading via FTP and received another error on a .php line that affected display of the whole website. I deleted all EE4 files from plugins directory to resolve that.
I checked and our php upload max is at 512MB so I don’t think that’s the problem.
Any other ideas?

Hi Rachel,
Could you try temporarily deactivating other plugins and then uploading the espresso zip file to through WordPress Plugins?
If this doesn’t help, please share a temporary SFTP or FTP login and WordPress admin through the following URL:
https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

Deactivating and removing some old calendar plugins made the install work. Thanks!
