Hi

1. is there a way to remove the following messages from the backend. my customer have canceled payment for the first project step.

– There are no Active Payment Methods setup for Event Espresso…
– Please be advised that this event has been published…

these messages are permamently on top in the backend.

2. In General Settings is on Option “Display Ticket Selector”. I have set this to FALSE but on any new event Page the Selector is TRUE (mean the option for registration box in the backend). I look for the right place to set is FALSE forever:).

3. Is there a way to add german format for the Date/Time Picker Control. have read some topics here but dont get it to work.

4. The German Translation is 90% incomplete. have start to translated some missing backend stuff but the tooltips are to much. What is the best way to remove the .qtips from EE4. I dont get it translated in the short time.

Thanks a lot

Greetings
Rene

Hi Rene,

Here is some feedback:

1. is there a way to remove the following messages from the backend. my customer have canceled payment for the first project step.
– There are no Active Payment Methods setup for Event Espresso…
– Please be advised that this event has been published…
these messages are permamently on top in the backend.

Event Espresso needs at least one payment gateway enabled. This applies even if all of your events are free. You can enable an option through the payment methods screen.

The published message appears after a new event has been published and should go away on its own. Ensure that you are running the latest software. If the issue continues, try testing again with only Event Espresso activated.

2. In General Settings is on Option “Display Ticket Selector”. I have set this to FALSE but on any new event Page the Selector is TRUE (mean the option for registration box in the backend). I look for the right place to set is FALSE forever:).

The ticket selector defaults to yes as that is the option that is frequently used. You could create an event as a template and set it to no. Then duplicate this event when you are creating additional events that are similar. There are some examples here on how to set defaults for the event editor:

http://developer.eventespresso.com/docs/modifying-the-defaults-on-creating-a-new-event/

3. Is there a way to add german format for the Date/Time Picker Control. have read some topics here but dont get it to work.

The datetime selector can’t currently be translated. However, we do have some filters that should display the date and time on your Event Espresso pages in the German format.

4. The German Translation is 90% incomplete. have start to translated some missing backend stuff but the tooltips are to much. What is the best way to remove the .qtips from EE4. I dont get it translated in the short time.

The Qtips can be deactivated through Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Admin. Adjust the toggle and save changes.

Hi Rene,

Regarding the ticket selector option for new events, please try this out:

https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/ef02326277e672fe2d5c

It can be added to your child theme’s functions.php file or a site specific plugin.

Hi,

4.4.3 is the latest version (you can always see the most recent version in the bar at the top of any page on eventespresso.com).
