I have reviewed all the Posts pertaining to this issue “Sorry, you are not allowed to list events. Missing permissions” and have done all the troubleshooting. The problem happens with both Android and IPhone. APP Connection URL’s used both https://www.xxx.com and xxx.com. The APP detects BAD USER and BAD PASSWORD.
My Hosting Support is reviewing the platform.
Postman Basic Authorization returns valid Event Data going to
/wp-json/ee/v4.8.36/registrations
Does this mean that BASIC AUTHORIZATION should be working for the Mobile APP?
What you could do is install the REST API Log plugin then check its logs after trying the app again (in WP Dashboard > Tools). The apps don’t send a request to /wp-json/ee/v4.8.36/registrations right away, and the error message you saw indicates the request to the /events/ endpoint was where the trouble happened.
Thanks for the clarification. From a troubleshooting perspective, if the Mobile App recognizes Valid User or Valid Password, can I assume that the endpoint (and eApps API are working) and the Basic Authorization is working?
FYI, the Mobile App is working for me after my hosting did some research and tweaks.
The Mobile APP works great… good job eApps.
