EE4 MESSAGE SYSTEM 1. We dont want any of our registrations to have to be “approved” or “declined” – the way we want it to work is that when someone resisters for an event then then need to make payment in full to complete the registration. What is happening now is some people are registering and then sitting in “Pending Payment” which is OK but we need to get an admin email notice and soon as this pending payment happens – |

Hi, wrt #1: For the Pending payment notification to automatically happen, they’d need to finalize the registration by selecting a payment method like “Invoice” or pay by Check. If they’re simply not selecting any payment method then it’s considered an abandoned transaction and no automatic email is sent. 2. Registration Approved — is automatically sent after payment is completed |

Step 1 is they fill out personal here https://mikelemoncasting.com/registration-checkout/?uts=1564441685#checkout which is name & email and then they click “proceed to payment option” Step 2 takes them here https://mikelemoncasting.com/registration-checkout/?uts=1564441685#checkout where we ONLY offer 1 method of payment which is by Credit Card using Paypal option or paypal guest then they click “proceed to final registration” to pay, so my questions are what email notices are being sent out to [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_EMAIL] and to us @ [CO_EMAIL] along this process? If they get to the checkout page and dont make a payment we would like to get an admin email telling us someone registered but did not complete the payment. I thought I read that it checks like an hour later and if not paid then sends both of us the payment reminder notices? In other words Id like to get admin notices for new registrants that dont complete the payment process – how do we do that? |

You mean before they have paid/finalize? None. Finalizing the registration is what triggers the logic for messages, that can be done either by selecting to pay with an online payment method, selecting an offline payment (such as invoice) or a cron job when the users session expires which checks the status of ‘offsite’ payment methods like PayPal Express.
That can happen, but only if the user selects an offline payment method and clicks to be directed to that payment provider. For example with PayPal, they select PayPal and click to finalize where they are directed to PayPal, if the user then closes the browser and doesn’t pay when their session expires the pending payment message will be triggered.
Currently, that’s not something we have built into Event Espresso, at least not for every registration made on the event. |
