For one specific event, we would like to insert a customized registration form between the moment the customer has clicked on “Register” to an event and the checkout screen where he has to pay. For your information:
– We already used the EE4 registration form possibilities but we need to do a more sophisticated form.
– We use the plugin EE4 Stripe gateway for the payment of the events on our website.
– The customized form we would like to insert will be done with the plugin “Gravity Form”. We use this plugin also because they offer electronic signature, which is necessary for the form we want to create.
Do you know if within the plugin EE4, we have this possibility to add a hook or something like this to take into account our customized registration form instead of EE4 ones?
Or do you know how could we do to achieve what we would like to please?
This isn’t something that’s supported, but there is a hook that make something like this possible. You can take a look at the AHEE__SPCO__load_reg_steps__reg_steps_to_load filter hook, which allows for adding additional steps to the registration process.
Hi Josh,
Thanks for the answer, I’ll have a look at it. Do you know if I can add additional steps to the registration process of specific event and not to the others? If I can select the events where I want to add the additionnal steps and keep the normal process for the other events?
Thanks
Yes you can. You’ll see an example with how the WP User Integration add-on adds a “Log in before you register” step, which can be added to specific events.
OK thank you very much, I’ll have a deep look at it.
Thanks for all your answers!
