I’m running EE4.4.5.p on WP4.0.1.
Is it possible to add a shortcode for [add_to_calendar] on the registration email on EE4? I really need to find a way to include the ICS link (which I can see is available on the Events list) into the email.

Hi George, a shortcode isn’t currently available so I’ve created a feature request to have one added in a future version of Event Espresso 4.

I wanted to let you know that this is now available in the current version of Event Espresso 4.
Important: Please backup your WordPress (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-back-up-your-site/) before making any changes and updating Event Espresso 4.

Here is how to find it after updating to the latest version of Event Espresso 4:
Login to your WordPress dashboard and go to Event Espresso –> Messages. Then look for the Registration Approved message type and click on Registrant. This will take you to the event editor and you’ll be viewing the Registration Approved message type.
Scroll to the date times area which appears further down the page. Then you can add this shortcode:
[ICAL_LINK_* link_text=”Add to my Calendar”]
Then save changes by clicking on the save button.
