I’ve finally got my events sorted out and we are starting to have schools register for our program. To make it easier for them to see what dates are available I don’t want sold out events to appear on the calendar. It seems like it should be doing this already from what I have read. I don’t like showing the tooltip as it covers too much and it just seems easier if there isn’t a button for them to press. Wordpress 3.9.2 |
Hi there, This may be a bit of a manual process, but you could use the Does that make sense? |

Your suggestion does make sense. I’m trying to avoid manually manipulating the calendar since we have over 170 events and will be adding more shortly. Can I mention that I greatly look forward to the recurring event add-on. Thank you for the quick suggestion though. |

Is there no other way than the manual suggestion? Perhaps I have just set things up wrong. Here’s what happens: What I would like to have happen is once 2 tickets have been purchased from an event it should disappear from the calendar so no one can click on it. Now I have a registrant that is trying to go back and make a payment by PayPal, but it isn’t taking them to the link. My guess is this is due to their status not being “Pending Payment.” Thank you for your help. |

Hi, Currently the Espresso calendar will only hide expired events, not sold out ones. The attendees should have a link in their registration email which will take them to their payment page. |
|
This is the message they get when they click on the “retry your payment” link: “WE’RE SORRY It appears that the event you were about to make a payment for has sold out since you first registered. If you have already made a partial payment towards this event, please contact the event administrator for a refund.” |
Hi there, We’re working on a fix for the issue reported here with the checkout page not allowing payment. I’ll post an update to this thread when the fix is ready. |

Is there a timetable for when this is likely to be fixed? It is making Event Espresso basically worthless until customers can use that repayment option. Also I am dealing with customers in a panic because they think they have lost their reservation. |
Hi, We are working on a fix for this issue and will update this support post once that fix has been tested and is available. — |

Hi there, The fix for the issue reported here with the checkout page not allowing payment is included in the Event Espresso 4.3.2.p release, available now. |

Hello again, We wanted to let you know that there is a filter available that will allow you to hide sold out events from your event calendar for Event Espresso 4. It is available in the current release of Event Espresso 4 and the Events Calendar add-on. Here is a link to a filter which can be added to your child theme’s functions.php or a site specific plugin: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/73efdcd1993e767728c7 Thanks! — |
