Some of the answers I found all suggested doing this with CSS – I think the toggle creates a messy layout and some confusion especially with such a small default font size. I’m prob going to install EE4 for the client but there’s very little budget for anything beyond getting it up and running so is there a quick way of removing this option?

Thanks

Hi,

You can inspect any element on a page using a free tool like Chrome Developer Tools (available with Google Chrome) or Firebug (available as a web browser extension).

This will show you the CSS that is handling the styling including the file and line number. Then you can add new styling to your child theme’s stylesheet or through a plugin like Reaktiv CSS builder or My Custom CSS.

Try this CSS:

.display-tckt-slctr-tkt-details.display-the-hidden.lt-grey-text.smaller-text {display:none;}

Then force refresh to see the changes:

Thanks, I’m familiar with using CSS and making changes to elements. I just thought it would have been great if this was an option rather than by default. It’s an ugly section of UI in my opinion. If I have 10 ticket types I have to inspect and hide each one – what a drag…

The CSS that I shared will hide all of them.

Is your software up to date?

OK thanks a lot, that did it. It looks far neater without the toggle. And since the modifier fees are published in the invoice I think that’s enough.

I’m testing EE4 for a proposal on another site and have the latest version. Hoping to implement next week.
