EE4 Filtered CSV Report not downloading in any browser

I’m not getting the csv report to download when i click the “filtered csv report” button on the Registrations Overview page.

This is what shows up after clicking in chrome, firefox and edge:

Here is the generated csv:

If I copy, paste the text into text editor, then save as .csv… then open in excel, I get all data on one single line.

Ive read three or four other forum posts about this but did not help.
Ideas?

Hi there,

Do you have an active support license for Event Espresso?

It could be an incorrect MIME type, for that you can try adding:

AddType application/ms-excel .csv

To your .htaccess file within root and see if that makes a difference.

However, the CSV file should not remain after the download has started so as the above link continues to work it looks like there are more issues.

Which version of Event Espresso 4 are you using?
