Hi Team, I’m not sure if there is a “bug post” to report bugs in EE4, but thought I’d highlight this error. Attempting to permanently delete registrations (they were test transactions) and receiving this error: Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to Registrations_Admin_Page::_delete_registration() must be an instance of EE_Registration, null given, called in /home/pillarsc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/admin_pages/registrations/Registrations_Admin_Page.core.php on line 1813 and defined in /home/pillarsc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/admin_pages/registrations/Registrations_Admin_Page.core.php on line 1844 Cheers, Lee |

I should mention that, as a result on not being able to delete Atendee’s, I can’t update the Registration Form questions which I need to do before the event goes live. So this is currently a fairly critical error, though I am checking to see if I can just drop the attendees directly from the db. |
Hi there Lee, What version of Event Espresso 4 are you currently running? You can check through WordPress admin –> Plugins. Then locate Event Espresso in the plugins list. — |

Hi Lorenzo. I’m running Version 4.1.5.reg |
|
I’ve managed to delete the transactions directly from the DB, so it’s no longer a critical issue, but I thought I’d let you know! |
|
I should check everything before I post! As a result of this error, I’m still unable to edit questions in the registration form. EE is saying that there are answers to the Q’s in the database and as a result, I can’t edit the questions. ….even though everything appears to have been deleted. |
|
Ummm…sorry…this is now fixed. DB is empty of questions and I can update questions! |
Thanks for an update. I’d like to try to duplicate this issue. Were you trying to bulk delete registrations and then you saw the error appear? Any other changes prior to arriving on the registrations page? — |
|
Hi Lee, I’m looking into how to reproduce this error in order to report this in a ticket for the dev team to fix. So far I have not been able to reproduce it. Can you let us know if this was a single registration or one that had more than one ticket? Any other details or steps to reproduce that you can give us will help us resolve this. |

Hi guys, Follow these steps to recreate the error: 1. Have attendee’s registered for an event 2. Bulk delete attendee’s (note that at this point, they are sitting in “Trash”. Because they are still in Trash and there are still answers to questions in the DB, you can’t edit questions) 3. Go to “Trash” view of registration page, so that you’re viewing attendee’s who are in the trash. 4. Error occurred when attempting to bulk PERMANENTLY DELETE attendee’s from the trash. Cheers, Lee |
Thanks for taking the time to outline how to reproduce this Lee. We’ll pass this on to the dev team. |

Anything to help. It’s a brilliant system and you guys provide spectacular support! EE4 is such a step up from EE3. I can’t wait to see what comes next. Congratulations. |
