I am using the following which is delivering every expired event in my calendar. Removing show_expired=”false” delivers only the expired events in the current month. What am I doing wrong?
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE order_by=“start date” category_filter = “false” show_expired=”FALSE” ]

Hi Laura, are you on version 1.2 of the add-on?
What happens if you remove the parameters and use only the basic shortcode?
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE]
Do you still only see expired events?

Hi Lorenzo,
The current events are showing however when I use the short code it shows current events plus it pulls every expired event in my calendar. When I only use [ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE] is shows current events and expired events in the current month.

Hi,
We cannot view previews, only logged in users with the right capabilities (admins generally) can view previews.
From looking at this, I think it’s a possible bug. I will raise a developer ticket to look into it in more depth.

Hi Laura,
We are investigating this and think we have found the cause.
If you change your shortcode from this:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE order_by=”start date” category_filter = “false” show_expired=”FALSE” ]
to this
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE order_by=”start date” category_filter=”false” show_expired=0 ]
The expired events should no longer show.
A full fix for this will be included within the next update to the template add-on.
