I’m trying to get the Grid view to work normally when using a short code on a page.
The menu choice works fine:

But the short code version displays the hover info below the image:
http://shiptic.com/?tour=tall-ship-lianas-ransom
Any ideas on how to get the hover to work as per the Grid View Menu choice (Text on image hover)?

Those shortcodes like the ones for the grid view really only work if they’re added to page content. It looks like in that tour page you’re using a page builder. If that’s the case, can you put the short code in the main tour page content?

Any thoughts on how to get it working in a page builder? This part is integral to the user’s theme click flow.

One way would be to load the scripts on every page of the front end of the page by adding a custom function to your theme or a little plugin:
You can add the above to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file.
If you prefer to conditionally load those scripts and styles only where needed, you can add additional conditional checks to the above code.

I followed the “function plugin” link you offered and made my first plugin. I’m feeling pretty good about this fix and I was educated a tiny bit long the way too.
