I am using EE4 for an upcoming event and had two questions.

1. I had about 160 registrations come in before I added the ticket add-on. Which I assume means none of those registrants have a ticket (or at least they didn’t receive a link to one). So, how do I address these 160 registrations to get them a link to their ticket? Also, I assume anyone who registers from this point forward will automatically receive a link to download and print their ticket.

2. Can I have more than one computer/tablet set-up at the event to scan tickets? I assume it will all link together through the system? It would be ok to have multiple devices scanning people in using the same admin account?

Hi matt,

How are you today?

1) Sure, you can send a Batch message to your attendees by:

send batch message

a) filtering your registrations by your event
b) select the attendees you want to send tickets to
c) click the “Send Batch Message” button at the bottom of the registration list table
d) Compose your message with the [RECIPIENT_TICKET_URL]

Send tickets via batch message

That will send a message to the attendees with their tickets.

2) Sure, you can have multiple people scanning tickets at the same time.

Does that help? Let me know if I can do anything else for you.

It seems I can only select 10 at a time? So I am going to have to go through each page to do this? Or am I overlooking an option to select all registrants at once to send this to?

Hi Matt,

If you look within the ‘Screen options’ on that page – http://take.ms/VBkCA

There is a setting to set how many registrations to display per page.

Event Espresso will not allow you to select all registrations to send messages to. One of the reasons for this is most hosting providers have limits to the amount of emails you can send in one go (to prevent spam). You can increase this limit to say 50 rather than all, then send the messages in batches of 50.

Will that work?
