I’ve seen other forum threads about this, but they were closed, so I had to make a new one.
I’m using EE4.5.0.beta32, and wpMandrill for sending emails.
When registering for an event, the attendee gets the registration message. But it seems the event admin messages fail to send. In my Apache error log, this appears when someone registers for an event:
[Wed Jan 28 12:04:12 2015] [error] [client xxx.247.167.200] \nwpMandrill::wp_mail_native: Enest\xc3\xa5ende Familier - Teknisk <eivind@domainname.no> (P\xc3\xa5melding til aktiviteten din!)\n, referer: http://domainname.no/registration-checkout/?ee=_register
There are no differences between the emails getting sent and this one, as far as I can see, so I have no clue why it’s not sending.
This is likely due to a bug within wpMandrill when using Formatted emails. Our developers created a plugin to work around this and issued a ticket with wpMandrill.
Then re-run a registration and check if the admin receives the messages.
Or you could also alter the ‘To’ field used within the Event Admin messages contexts (read more about message contexts HERE) to use not _FORMATTED shortcodes.
For example [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL] as opposed to [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL] – http://take.ms/dyEht
I can provide further details on this is you prefer to edit this over the plugin.
