I used to be able to email my group of attendees from the event page and have a nice WYSIWYG editor. This feature seems to be missing or I am totally blind. I did find a “batch email” from the attendee list but this doesn’t have an editor in it. This is hugely important because after the event I email the attendees pdf’s of recipes and to manually code a link isn’t going to work for my client.
Your client can create some additional templates by going to Event Espresso –> Messages. Then locate the Newsletter message type and you’ll see a create custom button:
Click on that button to be brought to the Messages Editor. Add a name for the template (so its easily recognizable) and customize the message and save changes.
Then that template will become available for use via the Send Batch Email option.
Also, once the initial custom template is it place, it can be quickly duplicated to created other templates:
The problem is that the WYSIWYG editor that used to be there isn’t. So if you want to do any formatting on a per event instance, or in their case attache PDF’s of their event’s recipes there is no way unless you were to hand code the links in. which isn’t acceptable for my client who are chefs.
