EE4 – E-mails not being sent

Our users have reported to us in the last week that they are not receiving confirmation emails. When I register myself for events, sure enough I do not receive a confirmation email. (This had been working fine, and recently stopped.) I tried with multiple messages to use the “Test Send” feature, but each time I get the message

An error has occurred:
The test message was not sent
Messages_Admin_Page – _do_test_send – 1675

As far as I know, I haven’t changed anything on our end. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Are regular WordPress notifications such as password resets and new user notifications working?

If they are, then try refreshing your message types:

WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Messages –> Settings

Turn it off and on. Then move all message types to deactivated and then move them back to over to reactivate them.

Then try sending another test message.
