When at the cart this is what we get when trying to delete. I have refreshed and tried several times. The following errors have occurred: Also, when trying to add a registration to the back end, when click go to checkout this error comes up. An error has occurred. Direct access to the registration is not allowed. |
After that error comes up from trying to manually add from back end, it redirects to https://www.masterpiecemixersnaples.com/events/ |
It looks like there’s a redirect happening from https to http. So what may be happening is the wp-admin is set to load as https, but your site on the front end is forcing http. The way forward may be to undo how SSL is set up and instead use a plugin like Really Simple SSL to load the entire site as SSL. |

I have both set to HTTPS, but I will try the plugin |
I installed the plugin, tried again and it just sits there and does nothing but make the middle part of the page blank. |
I tried 3 different SSL plugins and none of them work. |
I even tried the rewrite in htaccess and does not work. |
I tried it on another site with EE4 and same issue. |
FYI….I am referring now to the …. “Also, when trying to add a registration to the back end, when click go to checkout this error comes up. |
So to recap: 1: Trying to register someone from the backend does not work. Receive error: Direct access to the registration is not allowed. Tried 3 different Force SSL plugins as well as a redirect in the .htaccess. Tried on 2 sites and not working. I assume this goes for all of our sites. |
Does the empty cart function work on the front end now that SSL is properly enabled? The lead developer is looking into the add registrations via the admin issue. |
Looks like I can remove events from cart. Still cannot add from backend though. |
Yes the solution for adding a registration from the back end is you update to version 4.9.19.p, because there was a new security feature added in 4.9.18.p that added a bug along with itself. If you’re not seeing a notice to update to that version on your WordPress > Plugins page, you can go to Event Espresso > General Settings then save the settings page there, then go to the Plugins page again and there will be an update notification. |
