I am trying to optimize our website which is extremely slow and using the plugin WP-Optimize I see a bunch of tables listed that belong to event-espresso-decaf. It says that event-espresso-decaf is not installed but I want to double check and see if these tables actually are part of EE4 and I should not delete them? Here is a screen shot of the list: https://www.cprtrainingpro.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Screen-Shot-2019-02-27-at-12.10.36-PM.png

Thank you.

The information from screenshot is misleading because while it’s true that event-espresso-decaf uses those tables, the regular version of EE4 also uses those tables.

So if you delete those tables you’ll lose your event and registrations data, and any other data you’ve added into EE4.

Thanks for your reply. Is there any problems with using gzip compression or leverage browser caching with EE4?

Hi there,

gzip compression should be fine.

Browser caching should also be fine, but not server side page/object caching.
