Hi, I want to modify the order confirmation page content and styles – what’s the process for overriding the existing template/styles?

Hi Chris,
Various areas of the thank you page can be hidden using CSS which can be added to your child theme’s folder or a plugin like My Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder.
There are also some filters available (e.g. FHEE__thank_you_page_overview_template__order_conf_desc) for changing the verbiage/messaging on the page. Other areas can be changed by using a gettext filter:

Hi Lorenzo,
I want to hide/remove all references to pricing/tax etc – the usual css files (my child theme’s style.css file and the custom CSS added via theme options) aren’t loaded for the order confirmation page. Instead, it looks like I want to override styles which are set in plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/modules/gateways/Invoice/lib/templates/css/simple.css – is there a way for me to do this without editing the core file?

Hi, my feedback was on the thank you page but you are referring to the order confirmation page that appears once you click the link on the thank you page.
You can move a copy to a safe location. See this support post:
