Hi, Many thanks |
Hi Antonio, So currently in the registration list, your registrations will looks something like this – http://take.ms/06GAQ The status bar on the left shows the REG status (Green = Approved) The Colour of the Reg Date and Cart Icon show the TXN Status (Yellow = Abandoned) To fix the transaction you need to apply a payment, if you click on either of those two yellow links you will be taken to the transaction for that registration, within that page you should see a ‘Failed’ payment which will have an Orange status bar. You can edit that payment by clicking on the pencil icon – http://take.ms/FeOSQ You’ll then see something like this – http://take.ms/fCIhJ Change the payment status to Accepted, you Reg status is already ‘Approved’ so set ‘Change Registration Status?’ to Leave the same and finally if you would like to send the related messages to those registrations (Reg approved messages for example) click the ‘Send related messages’ checkbox – http://take.ms/todO8 (If you want to add further details to any of those field you can do, for example if you want to include the transaction ID within the notes) Once that is done the Transaction will update to ‘Complete’ – http://take.ms/KmvEU And the registration will show this too – http://take.ms/Q6mba Those registrations will then show within the CSV. |

In my particular Event the real payment will be done by cash in the same day. The CSV help me to understand who paid online and who still need to pay. So I cannot apply a payment in advance to complete the transaction. I think the error was done from the customer who didn’t click the last button “Finalize registration”. I need to recreate the situation in which I have a registration approved or not with a “incomplete” transaction. Many thanks |
Ok, so I did a little investigating with this and currently the only way to change the Abandoned transaction is to apply a payment (we have a ticket to provide a button to allow the status to be changed) So in order to fix these, you’ll need to apply a payment and then remove it However when you apply a payment a Payment Received email will be sent to the attendee. We’ll need to disable this first. Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings. You’ll see something like this – http://take.ms/F5R9D Find ‘Payment Received’ in the active messages and drag it to the inactivate box – http://take.ms/MwEsm It should then look like this – http://take.ms/O8oRi (Note while this is disabled non of your attendees receive that message type. As your using Pre-Approval this should not be an issue but something to be aware of) Now find one of the registrations with the Abandoned transaction, edit it and apply a payment – http://take.ms/TcjyF Note that if you have not yet approved the registration you may want different settings to mine, but the Payment must be accepted and does not need to be for the full amount. You’ll end up with something like this – http://take.ms/Sqfxc Now simply click the trash icon to that payment we just applied – http://take.ms/mGMUn Do not send related messages and leave the reg status the same – http://take.ms/v5anS Re-check the transaction – http://take.ms/65nkW It should be incomplete. Note: when finished updating these transactions be sure to re-enable the payment received message type so that it will be used in the further for online payments etc. |
