I am running the latest version of EE4 (4.9.17.p). I have created multiple events while logged in as Admin. It wont allow me to change the author to another user who has permissions to add/delete/edit events in EE. I am using a role editor and have went through the roles multiple times. I event went to the extent to give them all of the permissions for everything in EE and it still will not allow me to change the author to the other user with those permissions.
The only way I am able to change authors is if I create the event while logged in as the user that has those permissions, save the event, then log back in as Admin, It will allow me to change the author to admin, but once I do that it won’t allow me to change the author back to the other user.
Help!

Hi there,
You make those other user accounts appear in the Author drop down by means of either of these two options:
1) You set those user accounts to have the Events Administrator role.
or
2) You set those user accounts to have the level_1 capability. See also:
