I’m trying to get the EE4 Calendar to show on the events page but it’s not displaying the calendar. I have the latest version of the EE4 plugin and EE4 Calendar plugin, using the latest version of WordPress.

I’m using a shortcode [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] and this is working fine on a normal page. For the events page I’m using a custom template (archive-espresso_events.php) and using echo do_shortcode(‘[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR]’);

I also tried using a new install of WordPress with twentyfifteen with no luck. Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

Hi Jessie,

Have you added the code to load the calendar scripts when using the calendar shortcode within do_shortcode within your template?

We have some details on this in our documentation here:

Thank you for your help Tony. I missed the last instruction – couldn’t work out why the scripts weren’t loading. That worked!
