EE4 Auth.net AIM refund issue

Hi Dorian, please see the attachment/screen shot below. It shows that the refund was successful but it was never processed with Auth. I checked today and saw there was no transaction for the refund. I had to refund from Auth and send an email from auth.

I have processed other refunds and have not had a problem with them, would you please look into this and see if you are able
to determine what may have gone wrong with the transaction.

Here screenshot showed the refund, but did not show a Gateway response like when a payment is made.

Hi Dorain,

There’s no screenshot attached to the post above so I can’t view it, however refunds within EE are a 2 step process. You issue the refund within your payment provider (in this case Auth.net) and then add a refund within EE to keep a record of the refund.

Issuing a refund within EE does not issue a refund through the payment provider used for that payment, its simply a record to keep within the EE transaction to log a refund.

I have processed other refunds and have not had a problem with them, would you please look into this and see if you are able
to determine what may have gone wrong with the transaction.

Processed refunds within Event Espresso? If so those refunds will not have been processed through the provider as mentioned above.
