Previously in EE3, the attendees column would list how many attendees are coming to an event out of the total number available. It would display similarly to 2/12.

However, with EE4 there’s an issue of just listing how many attendees are registered but no total number. I’m wanting to list the old style that EE3 used. Is there a code or something that needs to be turned on for this to happen?

Here is an image displaying an example in EE4 and EE3.EE3 vs EE4

Hi there,

The problem with what you are requesting is with EE4 there are multiple different ways to set up your events and users want different outputs on the above.

With EE3 within a single event you essentially have a single limit and all ticket sales apply to that limit.

With EE4 you can have multiple datetimes within an event (each of which can have its own limit), multiple tickets assigned to individual datetimes (again each ticket can have its own limit), you may only use a datetime limit or only a ticket limit etc.

So then on that section do you want a calculation based on datetimes, tickts, the first datetime etc etc.

For example, this snippet:

https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/f5d95b5a04077247d3ca97f481a8468d#file-tw_ee_add_registrations_sold_total_column-php

Adds a ‘Regs Sold/Total’ column based on all of the available spaces across all datetimes within the event, but that may or may not suit your events depending on how they are set up.

You can add that to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have some documentation on creating one here:
