After installing WP 4.4.1 (using latest EE4 .29) getting 404’s when going to Registration. Saw post where someone else was getting 404’s in Events. Have installed WP fix to Cononical.php…. still broken.
Anything I can do? Should I wait for WP 4.4.2?

Clarification: This was a WP 4.4.1 update, site worked OK before. WP indicates there are 404 bugs in 4.4.1 but the only fix I found did not solve this problem. Also, site is HTTPS.

Hi there,
Is the 404 happening on the page that shows the event information or is it the page that has the registration form? Have you tried flushing the site’s permalink settings?
As an aside, are you referring to the canonical.php fix that’s show here?

404 happening going to registration from event.
seems to work in ADMIN
flushed permalinks (still broken) applied cononical.php fix 36237 which had what you sent for line 175 plus more… what you sent looks more recent than what I used but only had line 175 (could the other parts I did be rescinded?)… the one I saw had red for delete and green for add.

MORE… the Event adds to CART… the 404 happens after that if I “Go To Registration”

Can you check with your host to see if they can restore your site to a backup prior to the update?
