Hi, I’m considering which version to purchase (EE3 or EE4 -personal). I like the idea of EE4 and it now has the calendar add-on available. Does it have the ability to post events (integrate with) facebook, g+, etc? I noticed the social media add-on for EE3 is not available for 4. Is the functionality built into 4? or will the add-on be available for 4 soon?

Hi Anna,
Event Espresso doesn’t currently have the ability to integrate with Facebook or Google+.
One of the big differences between Event Espresso 3 and Event Espresso 4 as it turns out is Event Espresso 4 publishes events as custom post types. With that, you can use a plugin like Share Buttons by AddThis to add social buttons to all your events. Since third party plugins like AddThis can be used, we are not planning on building a social button add-on for Event Espresso 4.
