Hi I’m using event espresso to register users for my event, however I need the users to set up an account using Profile Builder so they can submit work prior to the event. I’d like to do the following:
1. Use the event espresso registration page.
2. Ask users to create a profile with profile builder (pre-populate some of the data from the event espresso registration.
3. Link the profile builder account so users can see their registration info and use CloudWok or another plugin to allow users to upload their file via their Profile Builder account.
Ok thank you for the info. Is there a way to have users register and create a very simple profile using event espresso? Hate to go the custom route as we’re bootstrapping.
For the sync to occur, then would need to register for at least one event. You could create a private or public event and use that for collecting the initial registration information.
Got it – so once they register they’ll have a profile and we can guide them to other pages from there once they log back in to view their registration info?
The registration information that was collected from that initial event will be pre-populated on future registrations.
This is because that information is being stored and retrieved from the attendee (contact) record for an attendee/registrant in Event Espresso.
